The Deutschlandticket is only available as a subscription and is valid for each calendar month. A prerequisite for ordering the subscription in the VRS ticket shop is the creation of a customer account by the person placing the order during the ordering process. Those placing the order must be at least 18 years old. As a registered customer, you can also order the Deutschlandticket as a subscription for other people through your customer account; these individuals can be under 18 years old. You will then find your subscriptions accordingly in your customer account. The Deutschlandticket can be canceled monthly, at the end of a calendar month. The cancellation must be made before the ticket is issued for the following month, i.e., by the twenty-fifth of the last month of the subscription used. You can find the cancellation button in your customer account under "Subscriptions." The Deutschlandticket is a personal ticket and non-transferable. Please carry a corresponding ID with you. At the turn of the month, you will automatically receive a PKPASS file by email to add the Deutschlandticket to a wallet app on your smartphone. You will also receive a PDF file that can be displayed on your smartphone (Ticket-to-Show). The payment methods for the DeutschlandTicket subscription are PayPal or credit card.
